The mental realm of the psyche is the realm through which and by which consciousness is experienced as thought. The mental realm is experienced via mental structures which divide consciousness into various layers of perception, conception, and narrative. Mental work involves bringing conscious attention to mental structures of consciousness for the purposes of awakening, healing, growth, and performance enhancement.
